The place is a very small hole in the wall type place with very little space to sit down inside and it's easy to pass by without even noticing it.
This is an absolute shame because the food is incredible and the portions are quite generous considering the price and location.
Just delicious food (I had the beef rice noodles and the spicy chicken cold noodles) with a great amount of spice. I'll admit I coughed a few times because of it but that's just how I like my spicy food.
I definitely plan on coming back whenever I'm in the area because the people are very nice and I'd love to try more things next time!! -

Authentic. Glad to see the locals love it
Small hole in the wall, the type of place Ali Wong would prob recommend and it's just so good.
Felt like I'm in some street noodle shop in China, love the small spicy side dishes -

My first yelp review but I feel so strongly about Burp Bowl I have to do it!
Amazing food at great prices. Truly the best of the best. I recommend this place to everyone I know. It's THAT good. The Mapo (simply called spicy tofu on their menu) with rice noodles is my favorite but I've eaten just about their entire menu and have never been disappointed. This place is a must try (over and over again)! -

Hidden gem on a side street in midtown's little India/Kip's Bay. Homestyle non-Cantonese Sichuan/Hunan spicy as all hell Chinese food, spicy, spicy, spicy at its best. This little Chengdu style noodle shop panders to no one. Be prepared to wash down your food bursting with spicy numb tingling flavors with something cold!

This hole in the wall completely filled the hole in my stomach for top notch noods. Even if it tasted like I wouldn't be able to complain about the $7.99 price. Hints of sweetness were present from the peanut sauce and complemented by the addition of chili oil. Sliced cucumber pieces added a fresh, lightness to the dish that kept it from being heavy on the palate. And the chicken, wow what a flavorful piece of meat. I would definitely recommend this place if you're missing that quality flavor from your life.
